Refund Policy

I understand that situations may change once you register for a workshop. Please carefully read the refund policy so I can clarify in advance any questions as there are no exceptions to the policy.

Why?
I have started to implement a small deposit when you RSVP for a couple of reasons.

First it allows me to be more prepared by bringing enough supplies and setting the room up accordingly. There is nothing more disturbing than to spend the first 30 minutes moving tables.
Secondly, it saves a space for you. I keep the classes small so by RSVPing I can save the space.
Lastly, the deposit provides a sense of commitment. Life sometimes gets in the way, but sometimes we let it. I am trying to eliminate the no-show situation.

Teaching these workshops costs money - renting the space, providing the materials and the refreshments, as well as my time and energy. As women, we always put ourselves last. (Why is that?!) By asking for a deposit, I recoup some money if you do not show up but it also allows you to take some time for yourself.

If you cancel two weeks before the workshop starts, you receive a refund minus a $5 processing fee (PayPal). OR you can also receive a FULL credit towards any workshop I offer within one year. After one year there is no credit or refund. If you use your credit within the year for another workshop and cancel, or do not attend there is no further refund, or credit.

If you cancel during the week before the workshop starts, do not attend, or leave once a workshop starts, there is no refund or credit.

If I cancel a workshop your deposit will be refunded in full or credited to another workshop unless the reasons are out of our control such as weather, war or disasters. In such cases there is no refund but your tuition can be transferred one time to another workshop. After one year there is no credit or transfer. If you transfer to another workshop and cancel, do not attend or leave early there is no further transfer.
